Disconnect the keyboard or switch it off where the model provides an appropriate control.

  2. 02

Remove loose debris carefully with a suitable soft brush or other gentle electronics-safe method.

  3. 03

Use a clean, soft and dry microfibre cloth on appropriate external surfaces.

  4. 04

Avoid forcing debris or introducing liquid into switches, sockets, ports or seams.

  5. 05

Keep the keyboard disconnected until it is completely dry.

IMPORTANT

Reconnect only when the keyboard and relevant components are completely dry.

YOUR CARE ROUTEKEYBOARD / SPILL

Liquid spill stop route

Stop using the keyboard while internal moisture may remain.

  1. 01

Disconnect the keyboard from power as soon as it is safe to do so.

  2. 02

Do not continue operating the keyboard.

  3. 03

YOUR CARE ROUTEKEYBOARD / KEYCAPS

Keycap care route

Keycap removal is not necessary for every routine clean.

  1. 01

Confirm removal is appropriate for the particular keyboard.

  2. 02

Use a suitable keycap puller and controlled upward pressure.

  3. 03

Take additional care with larger stabilised keys.

  4. 04

Use only a cleaning method suitable for the specific keycap material and legends.

  5. 05

Reinstall keycaps only when they are completely dry.

IMPORTANT

If the keycap material or approved cleaning method is uncertain, contact BROVOXEL before using a chemical cleaner.

Confirm the supported socket, switch type and pin configuration.

  3. 03

Use an appropriate switch-pulling tool and avoid excessive force.

  4. 04

    Inspect replacement-switch pins before installation.

  5. 05

Never force a bent or misaligned pin into a socket.

IMPORTANT

Hot-swappable does not mean every mechanical switch is compatible.

Desk mat wet-cleaning route

Only use wet cleaning when it is appropriate for the specific product.

  1. 01

Check the stated materials and care instructions.

  2. 02

Avoid bleach, aggressive chemicals and abrasive scrubbing unless expressly permitted.

  3. 03

YOUR CARE ROUTEDESK MAT / DRYING

Desk mat drying route

Electronics should not return to a wet or significantly damp surface.

  1. 01

Place the mat in a suitable position for drying.

  2. 02

    Allow it to dry fully.

Surface-protection route

Prevent avoidable marks, cuts, heat exposure and chemical damage.

  1. 01

Do not cut directly on the mat.

  2. 02

Keep sharp objects from pressing into the surface.

  3. 03

Be cautious with hot objects, strong chemicals and adhesives.

  2. 02

    Avoid sharp folds and crushing.

  3. 03

Do not leave heavy objects applying prolonged pressure.

01 / MECHANICAL KEYBOARD CARE

A light routine beats
heavy build-up.

Dust, crumbs and other debris can collect between keycaps during normal use. Regular gentle external care is generally preferable to waiting for significant accumulation.

  1. 01
    ○

    Disconnect

Disconnect a wired keyboard. Switch off a wireless model where it provides an appropriate power control.

  2. 02
    ≋

    Remove loose debris

Use an appropriate soft brush or another gentle electronics-safe method.

  3. 03
    ◇

    Wipe gently

Use a clean, soft and dry microfibre cloth on appropriate external surfaces.

  4. 04
    ⌁

    Avoid openings

Do not force debris or introduce liquid into switches, sockets, ports or seams.

  5. 05
    ✓

    Dry completely

Keep the keyboard disconnected until it and any cleaned components are completely dry.

CLEANING WORKBENCH

Gentle tools. Controlled pressure.

01

Keycap removal is not required for every routine clean.

02

Avoid sharp metal objects and excessive force between keys.

03

Use a soft, dry cloth on appropriate external surfaces.

04

Do not force a connector or place unnecessary strain near the port.

LIQUID SPILL / STOP ROUTE

Exterior dryness does not prove the inside is dry.

BROVOXEL does not describe a keyboard as waterproof or water-resistant unless that characteristic is specifically stated and supported for the particular model.

  1. 01

Disconnect the keyboard from power as soon as it is safe to do so.

  2. 02

Do not continue operating it while liquid may remain inside.

  3. 03

Do not reconnect it merely because the exterior appears dry.

  4. 04

Depending on the circumstances, contact BROVOXEL and consider professional assessment.

02 / KEYCAP CARE

Remove only when appropriate.

  • Confirm removal is appropriate for the model.
  • Use a suitable keycap puller and controlled upward pressure.
  • Take additional care around stabilised larger keys.
  • Avoid harsh solvents and excessive heat.
  • Never reinstall washed keycaps until completely dry.

03 / HOT-SWAP CARE

Supported does not mean universal.

  • Disconnect the keyboard.
  • Confirm the model is hot-swappable.
  • Check socket, switch and pin compatibility.
  • Use an appropriate switch-pulling tool.
  • Never force a bent or misaligned pin into a socket.
Compatibility Guide ↗

04 / PORTS, POWER & STORAGE

Care continues beyond the keycaps.

Use the requirements and storage guidance supplied for the specific model.

01Cables and ports+

Insert and remove a cable using the connector, not by repeatedly pulling the cable. Never force a connector, and avoid sharp bends or strain near the port.

02Wireless charging+

Use charging equipment that meets the model’s stated requirements. Do not use damaged charging cables or connectors, and follow the applicable charging instructions.

03Battery warning signs+

If a battery appears swollen, physically damaged, unusually hot or shows another concerning condition, stop using the product and contact BROVOXEL for guidance.

04Keyboard storage+

Store in a clean, dry environment away from excessive moisture, heat and direct sunlight. Avoid placing heavy objects on the keyboard, and follow model-specific long-term battery guidance.

05 / DESK MAT CARE

Check the material
before the method.

Desk mat construction varies. Product materials and model-specific instructions should determine whether water, detergent or another cleaning method is appropriate.

01

Remove loose debris

Use a gentle method and a soft cloth where appropriate for the surface.

02

Check the product

Review stated materials and care instructions before wet cleaning.

03

Dry fully

Do not return electronics to a mat that remains wet or significantly damp.

04

Protect the surface

Avoid sharp objects, strong chemicals, excessive heat and substances likely to stain.

05

Store without creases

Avoid sharp folds, crushing and prolonged pressure. Use a gentle roll only where suitable.

MODIFICATIONS

Customise only where supported.

Modification does not automatically remove every consumer right. However, an incompatible component, incorrect installation, accidental damage or unauthorised modification may be relevant when a problem is assessed.

NORMAL WEAR OR POSSIBLE DEFECT?

Do not diagnose by appearance alone.

Frequency of use, environment, cleaning and handling affect appearance. If you believe the product has a defect or durability problem, contact BROVOXEL so the circumstances can be assessed.

07 / POSSIBLE PRODUCT FAULT

Stop before troubleshooting creates more damage.

Contact BROVOXEL with your order number and a description of the issue. Where reasonably useful, photographs, a short video or troubleshooting information may be requested.

Product-care guidance does not remove rights or remedies that may apply under Australian Consumer Law.
